The web is full of free ebooks for bloggers and writers, some of them better than others.
Here are a few of the better ones. These books have something for everyone from the relative beginner through to experienced bloggers looking for fresh ideas and inspiration.

Who’s There, Seth Godin’s ‘Incomplete guide to blogs and the new web’. Also no catch. Just download and enjoy.
Blog Profits Blueprint from BlogMastermind.com. There is a sign-up process here and you have to give your email address. They promise not to spam you and that you can unsubscribe at any time. I can vouch for the no-spam guarantee but not for the unsubscribe policy. I signed up a while ago and got my free ebook, and email updates have been useful (and spaced out) enough that I haven’t wanted to hit the unsubscribe button yet!
The Beginners Guide to Search Engine Optimization. If you’re going to blog you want people to find your blog. There are a few ways of doing this, and the main ones are Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social media. This gives you the low-down on SEO – what it is and how to use it. Again, just download it. No sign-up required.
The New rules of Viral Marketing. A short read but a useful one, about ‘word-of-mouse marketing’ (basically spreading your ideas across the web via blogging and social media)
